Miss California Teen USA 2012

Miss California Teen USA 2012, Alexa Brielle Jones, Miss Orange County Teen Regional 2011, was confirmed to news as the Miss California Teen 2012 last night. She is a student at California State University, San Marcos.

Her next stop is the Miss Teen USA 2012 pageant.Last year, Alexa Jones made news winning the Miss Orange County Teen Regional competition. In August she beat out forty-three competitors, winning the crown along with Best Interview Award. The pageant was also co-hosted by two familiar faces, Alexis Bellino, from Bravo’s The Real Housewife of Orange County and Ryan Basford of E! Chelsea Lately Show.

Alexa won the title in front of six hundred spectators. She was crowned by Kristen Dalton, Miss USA 2009 and Claire Schreiner, Miss Wyoming USA 2010. Alexa went on to appear in a series of news and television interviews, including “What’s Up, Orange County”.

Last night Alexa Jones made news again, winning Miss California Teen 2012. She beat out more than one hundred contestants for the title.

In December, Alexa lost her father in a fatal car crash accident. Before that tragedy she had been a receipt of the President Volunteer Service Award-Gold. Her charitable work has included the American Cancer Society, Children’s Hospital and Muscular Dystrophy Association.

She is also a proud cheerleader, she tells news. She was the Varsity Cheer team at Ramona High School. Also winning last night was Natalie Pack for Miss California 2012 USA.

Alexa’s pageant page from the OC competition reports she is a “model and communications major from San Marcos, California. After graduating early from high school, Alexa moved out on her own to conquer the world and pursue her dreams of being a model, a communication student and a pageant Titleholder.”

The pageant also tells news “She enjoys reading, is passionate about volunteering, shopping and working out at the gym. She has been recognized for her outstanding leadership and academic achievement as the recipient of multiple scholarship awards.”
